Try pouring water into a bottle with greasepencil.
Anyone how this can be done
Just move it around with the sculpt brush and then interpolate between frames. That should get a flowing effect. I can’t remember the exact process, but if you google for blender grease pencil interpolate, I suspect you’ll go right to it.
I was curious for an answer no google solution.

I expected the rising water level to be easier.
