Water Sim "Bouncing" on Mesh?


I am making this fluid simulation, and the particles when baking the data seem to be “bouncing” on the mesh, like steps on a staircase. What is causing this and what can I do to fix it?

Not an expert but I think you just need to increase the “Resolution Subdivision” of your domain to a much higher number.

If you’re using subsurf on the ground you could try applying it. From what I can tell you have enough resolution and it shouldn’t produce an effect like this, it would be a lot easier to troubleshoot if you provided the .blend.
