Water Simulation Problem

So i have my scene of a little creek
There are grass particles and a rock where my guy is sitting on it.
I tried filling the creek with water by setting an inflow at the beginning of the creek
I have my domain setup and have all of my obstacles assigned
I baked it at 10 resolution and it doesnt work blender just crahses
Ive bake more complex scenes at 250 res why doesnt this work??

10 resolution? That’s waaaaayyy below anything I’d recommend… that’s not really enough for blender to work with. Try 32 res.

Do you have any meshes that extend beyond the domain set as obstacles? The fluidsim hates it when you do that, in my experience.

Really? Wow… that explains a lot of my problems a LOOOONNNGGG time ago that I just gave up on.

there is nothing wrong with my scene all my obstacles are scaled in and even at 32 res it just chrashes
is this a bug or a problem with my scene??

What’s your specs?

Try applying object scale, just to be on the safe side. I swear, it fixes everything. Also, do you have anything subsurfed set as an obstacle? I’m not sure why this has an effect if fluidsim is above subsurf in the stack, but it seems to anyway.

Also, don’t have the viewport mode set to “final” when you click bake.

i applied the subsurf set the viewport display
still the application chrashes
my specs aretn important to know
Ive baked a 30 second scene more complex at 250 res
