I am following a tutorial called “Create a Realistic Water Simulation”. However after having clicked on “Bake” and then looking through the frames, I noticed that the glass that is meant to be catching the water, falls through the floor plane the moment the fluid hits it. I tried making the plane a rigid body but then both the glass and the floor fall down through space, leaving the liquid to fill a no longer present glass. Looked at the tutorial a few times but not sure what I am doing wrong.
The glass shouldn’t be a rigid body but a fluid obstacle… and fluid obstacles don’t move unless you animate them. Problem solved.
