These are awesome! When I saw the ocean tutorial I downloaded it, spent an hour working on it, uploaded a picture of me and wet myself out of excitement!

In other, less weird, words, thanks!

Just posting to get this into my subscribed threads. These will be wonderful for my current project. Thank you.

Robin, you don’t need to post to subscribe to a thread.
Simply go to Thread tools and click on Subscribe to this thread.
And I hereby subscribe to this thread as well.
Though if I wanted to I can UNsubscribe. Nifty.

Just to inform, this Forum is to put up tutorials, not asking/requesting them, and nothing else, I do wonder why this thread slipped by.

I am thinking of creating a sticky thread that it is a Must to read for everyone posting in this forum and also making a sticky where users can doing requests for tutorials.

Doing requests of tutorials in this forum will be deleted, and there have been many of them, and not only that, users asks for Support in here too, we have other forums in supportsection for that. that’s why the threads aren’t seen or visible, tutorials must be approved

I am not in charge why this system works like this, but until otherwise this is how it works.

So if you have any of these “Water tutorials” the best thing would to be doing a seperate thread with correct headlines, and linking to it, and the author of this thread is not the one who posted them, but did a request, there’s search engines on the web as well

admin.

I cant get any of the Pdf tuts to work, using Firefox, dont know if that is causing the problem… seems to have caused a few with downloading other things so far. Wether or not Firefox is the problem, could someone please tell me how to fix… always eager to learn nature like rendering (rocks, water, clouds, lighting etc.)

To read pdf you will need a seperate pdf reader, like Adobes Acrobat reader.

Hi TheBeast9,

You need to update your version of acrobat reader. If you use Windows version 7 has been out for some time. If you are on Linux I think its version 6? Firefox isn’t the problem however. These pdfs work fine for me on many different systems.

I’m going to take a wack at yours again, your results look amazing.

Hey, I got the tuts to work now, but for some reason cant make my cloud appear when rendering. What could I be doing wrong (as I know that there are a lot of things I could be doing wrong)?

Make sure you have your camera and lighting layer selected and visible as well as your cloud layer.

Were they changed? I thought it used the wave modifiers on a bunch of planes.
