Well, here’s another pretty quick project I made. Rendered in cycles with 100 samples. This is supposed to be an image of an area called “Waterfall” in the game Undertale. The game is a 2d pixelated game, so I intentionally made this a low-poly image lacking detail and realism. That’s a pretty good excuse anyway. =P


I pretty like the river zone, the colors and shades, but the waterfall itself perhaps it’s too plain. It looks more like a stain that something falling.

The water is supposed to be kind of bright and plain, but I do see what you’re saying, especially on the part past the bridge where the water is actually falling. Maybe a glare or different colors there would make it better, but I kind of suck with Cycles materials, so I don’t think I know any ways to make it better, but thanks for the feedback.
