Waveform in timeline: is it possible?

Noobish question from old user: Waveform in timeline: is it possible?

I know, I know: I open the sequencer, import sound, right select the strip, check ‘cashed’ in properties and I can see waveform in the strip. So far, so good… Is it possible to see the waveform in timeline It sounds logical, and I remember that I saw it… but it could be maya or some other app. Or maybe 2.49? I was playing with 2.55 and wasn’t able to make it work. Am I missing something obvious here?

Thanks! So, no waveform in timeline, just in the sequencer… well, I’ll have to live with that…
