Way to create dynamic tendrils reacting to forces?

As a medical animator, one of the things I do often in Softimage is make villi which sway in reaction to forces and bounce off each other. Here’s an example in one of my clips at 13 seconds.

In Softimage I create a rigid body tower which reacts to wind objects at different positions and duplicate it all over the scene. All of the villi react to each other and the forces. I didn’t have any luck with that method in Blender. Any ideas?

Your link to vimeo shows error “You are unauthorized for this action”. And no link shown
would be interesting to see what you are doing.

Sounds like you will need to set up physics with collisions or export models to Unity for simulation.
Blender physics are good. They get physical. hope to see more.

I guess this is the video @adrencg [https://vimeo.com/308481555]
