Well…this is my WC entry…I have very little, if any, time to finish. Suggestions?
Simplistic, but I love it. I certainly dig the interesting lighting 
I like the void space, to tell you the truth, but I think you should make the…uh…thing white with red “eyes” and put it under a spotlight (glow effect on it as well?) with darkness all around it. I think that would look cool!
nice start. Even if you dont make the deadline, I would like to encourage you to continue on with it.

Here’s an update…I don’t think I’ll work much more on this unless I feel like being angry. (Its not gone well).

For some reason no matter how I set up the lighting and OSA (including motion blur) I cannot get rid of the aliasing on the tentacles. Its possible that its from the size of the image and the shader I used but I’m still trying to get rid of it. More work on it later.

I’m not sure it will work or if you want to try this, but try adjusting the angle on the tentacles with the aliasing on. It might sound strange but I think it might help.
