For what it is, its very nice. The only problem that I have with it (which isnt really a problem, just a personal preference) is that there really isnt much in the scene.
the only things i would add, is some fog to give it a little more depth, like right near the horizon, and texture the beach, so you can see the wet sand and dry sand etc…
Reminds me of where I live You did a great job The water is a pretty good color…I might turn down the green just a tad though if I were you. I like it very much
I long for the salt air and the feel of sand between my toes. And the loud lady with the mean poodle and the freckle faced girl with the red pigtails,…and,…um,…
Desoto, give skeletor a freakin break. It IS empty and hes entitled to his opinion. Besides, Three-Dee wants crits, so skeletor gave them too him
I agree with Skeletor anyways. It is rather empty, regardless of what your were going for. I’ve been to the beach. I’ve seen the ocean and its empty. Thats neither good nor bad, factualy. I prefere a busier scene to that of an open ocean, but like I said before, for what it is, its very nice.
i live in california… that all the explanation that many people need, most beaches here are full of shit, i dont like beaches either way. nice, but, yea, ive said it all before
I completely appreciate that you’re leaving it as it is. I’ve seen many many beautiful paintings of the ocean that looked exactly like this. Empty…yes…but this demonstrates that blender is capable of both artistic beautiful and complex 3d models. Just because this work doesn’t have a great deal of intricate 3d work…that doesn’t mean its not good or needs to be changed. That was my only point. Sowwy Skeletor.
