Here’s my entry to the Weekend Challenge #83.

It took about 16 hours to make it. Half of the time for the robots.

You know, Im going to tell you a little story:

Until a couple of weeks ago I was immensly frustrated with the quality of blender art; The coders were busting their collective asses to bring us cool new features but Finished projects was still being littered with raytraced cubes and other such uninspiring rubbish.

Now – We all know that there are a number of establish artists in this community. I doubt very much that I need to mention them by name because like I said before we all know who they are. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

What really bugged me was the fact that there didn’t seem to be any fresh blood. The kind of artist where you look at their work and say “Oooh, this guy is going to be good when he gets a little more experience”.

Then along comes You and Robertt, both producing work that is makng me smile again, and injecting some much needed fresh talent into this community.

My hat goes off to both of you :stuck_out_tongue:

Erufailon: You are right. The modeling in my WC #82 entry was very simple. (but I worked a lot at the lighting). I promise to do better in the future.

Excellent render and a fantastic concept. Well thought out and accomplished.

I have to agree with M@dcow as well. Things are starting to look up around here, and that is a good thing.
