weekend challenge - "a rush of blood to the head"

hey, i’d like to show you my wc entry.

his blood rushes to his head when he’s angry!!!
all done in blender with glow and zblur plugin. text done in corel.
what do you think?

looks nice although i think his torso is cut off and all the blood is gushing onto the floor at the moment he seems a little drained instead of about to explode from rushing blood.

nope, each hair is individually modelled/duplicated.

oh by the way… here’s a small modeling visualisation of the head mesh.
as you can see, the final texture isnt very complicated because i wanted to focus mainly on modeling.

A very good entry.

But, a rush of blood tio the head wouldn’t mean your angry. Has anyone mabby got up too fast and felt all dizzy, thats a rush of blood to the head.

sorry, thats a lack of blood to the head. if you do it too badly, you body’s systems make you faint, where you end up on the ground, where it is easier for blood to get to your head.

could we see an unshaded wireframe, 2ndy?

I’d like to see his veins poppin out of his forehead; looking like they are about to burst. at the moment he looks like he has a nasty rash.
I like the Post pro glowy effect though… reminds me of killer instict. Cool

i like the first version best, you know, without subsurfing. that’s, and little wireframe, would make it mean little mesh.

Normal glow or Afterglow???

I need to know!!! I cant get that damn to work properlly!!! (Going on 52nd trial run now…)

it’s normal glow because
a) i cant get afterglow to work
b) just right for that purpose

Oh…okay…I thought you might of used afterglow on the eyes… i guess thats just halos then?
