I can confirm the same error in 4.2 from Zophiekat. I hope this is not dead and gets remedied as it is a superb addon. Thank you for the work so far!

Just a follow-up if the development of this addon is dead. Would be a shame if so.

Hi, really sorry about the wait, unfortunately I haven’t had time to work on Weight Layers in a while. I’ve created a new build that should work in 4.2+, but I can’t guarantee this, and unfortunately can’t commit to any fixes if it doesn’t. I think in that case, I’ll unlist the addon from Gumroad until I have time to do more work on it.

Sorry for the disappointing news, I do hope to return to the addon at some point.
