Whenever I make a character, it seems I don not
paint properly the parts. Hence when i move, say a hand
(in pose mode) 1-2 spikes will always remain.
There was a way, you went to edit mode
selected the stay vertex and did something to it,
and it went back to its original place,
How could this be done?
alt and r key to clear rotation …alt L for location…alter s for clear scale but you do this in object mode. In edit mode I do not know , only control z to undo. That’s all I know

You can assign the wanted area to a vertex group and in edit mode and give the same name to the group as the bone then you can configure the weight paint as much as you want.
