Hello everyone I’ve started to make a player model for Garry’s Mod and while I was rigging the bones and adding weight paint to the specific limbs to the body, the left calf is having trouble aligning the mesh with the the bone. I’m getting a glitch where some parts of the lower part of the left leg is not moving with the bone even when I’ve added weight paint to that portion. Any ideas?
It looks like some of the vertices are weighted to several bones, you can select a single vertex in the area and check in the n-panel to see what they are weighted to. Then you can select all of the vertices and remove the weights from the groups they aren’t supposed to be weighted to.
Ok, I’ve basically changed the vertex groups, so anything that had to do with the legs are only legs. However it still deforms the left calf really wierd and now it’s also the right calf. I’m not sure if I should delete this skeleton and just use another one.
Nevermind I got it, thanks alot! Apparently I forgot to delete some duplicate bones that had some of the same vertices.
