Weight Painting Problems and Deformation

Hi again, people. I’m having some problems when I weight-paint my video-game robot:

1º I get some shades of pink on some parts of the mesh; those shades of pink can’t be edited, or so it seems.

2º The robot is actually two objects: his body and his armor. I weight-paint the body and armor separately. Automatic weights seem to have mixed some part of the armor with some parts of the body (my theory) but if that’s the case then I don’t know what to do.

Not sure what the first problem is, the pink colors. The second problem, can’t really tell what is wrong from a picture, but it sounds like you’ll have to weight paint it by hand to correct the auto weights. Posting a file might help you to get help…
