Weird flat shading with SSS

I got this “flat shaded” edges in the face of my character when I render her skin.

The SSS node has a scale of 0.02 as that looks the best and the character has a scale of 1. If I increase the SSS scale the flat shading goes away, but then the chracter looks like a tiny was figurine.

The character is roughly the height of three default cubes.

Can anyone help?

Uhm I just found that it was caused by the normal map, but still, the normal map looks good on other types of renders for the model…
