Very new to Blender, been a small time 3ds MAX guy. Found this amazing .blend file from Matt Hoeker with the 20th Century Fox fanfare… I’ve rendered it (8 hours) only to find one of the lights seems to be very flickery… a similar render by someone else is shown on youtube I guess I can’t post the URL, but searching this will find it… How to Make a 20th Century Fox intro
Any idea of what it is and how to fix? I’m a newbie, and this program is a bit hairy (though I’m doing tutorials for 2.48 on Lynda.com… running 2.49b
Looks kind of like a render error, but… Try replacing the light. I mean, just deleting the thing and creating a new one. I don’t have the file so I’m not sure what’s going on there.
I’ve seen various video renders from this file, all with the same problem… hard to imagine it’s a render problem! I will try to replace the light, and another 9 hour render
