Weird seams showing up while rendering in Cycles

Hey guys,

So I’m trying to make a PC gaming cabinet, and was adding a brushed metal like effect, but came across a problem.
Every time I hit the rendered viewport button, a weird seam shows up at one of the edge loops; as if the panel was “broken” (much like a line showing up when a mirror breaks into two) I’ve tried everything, but cannot seem to be able to fix it.

The problem is subtle, but annoying nonetheless :frowning:

Here’s the .blend file :Computer-rig.blend (153 KB)

The seams might be cause by the anisotropic shader. The shader has two typical outputs depending on it’s input. One is circular pattern and the other is linear. Andrew Price’s tutorial on the anisotropic shader might hold the answer.

Ok, your idea did point me in the right direction.

Turns out the solution was simple: I just needed to specify a UV map in a tangent node and then attach that to my anisotropic shader. Problem solved.
