"We're building the next 3D asset marketplace with native Blender integration — 3 intern spots open"

About Korvix3D:
Korvix3D is a startup building a subscription-based 3D asset marketplace — think Spotify, but for 3D models. We’re live, we’re operational, and we’re in our most exciting phase: growing the creator ecosystem. Our platform pays artists fairly through an effort-weighted earnings model, and our bridge plugins let artists publish and import assets without leaving their 3D software.

Role 1:

Help us onboard professional 3D artists onto a live asset marketplace — running outreach across ArtStation, Reddit, and Discord while working directly with our founding team on creator acquisition strategy.

What You’ll Actually Do:

  1. Identify and reach out to professional 3D artists on ArtStation, Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn and YouTube
  2. Run DM and email campaigns to onboard creators onto the platform
  3. Engage in 3D communities — be genuinely helpful, not just promotional
  4. Track outreach results, conversion rates, and maintain an outreach CRM
  5. Work directly with the COO (Durga Saran) on creator acquisition strategy

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • Real experience running growth campaigns for a live B2B2C platform
  • Measurable results you can put on your resume (X creators onboarded, Y% conversion)
  • Deep understanding of creator economy and marketplace dynamics
  • Certificate of Internship + Letter of Recommendation from founders
  • Performance-based stipend from Month 4 for retained interns.

You’re a Fit If You:

  1. Can write well and communicate confidently online
  2. Are genuinely interested in 3D art, game dev, or creative tech (you don’t need to be an artist)
  3. Are self-driven — this role has real autonomy
  4. Know your way around Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, & Communities around 3D

  • Collaborate with the founding team on product launch announcements

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • A live portfolio of content you built for a real startup — visible publicly
  • Experience managing a brand’s social strategy from Day 1, not just scheduling posts
  • Understanding of the creator economy and B2C SaaS marketing
  • Certificate of Internship + Letter of Recommendation
  • Performance-based stipend from Month 4 for retained interns

You’re a Fit If You

  • Have a genuine eye for what content works in creative/tech communities
  • Know short-form video, carousel posts, or have experimented with content creation yourself
  • Are comfortable working with tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar

Role 3:

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Assist in developing and testing bridge plugins for Unity and/or Unreal Engine
  • Work with the core team on Blender Python API for existing plugin improvements
  • Debug, document and optimize plugin code
  • Learn how 3D software APIs work from the engineers building on them daily
  • Contribute to a codebase that is actively used by real artists

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • Production-level plugin development experience — rare for any intern
  • Deep knowledge of 3D software APIs (Blender, Unity, Unreal) that is highly valued in game dev and VFX industries
  • Code you can point to in a live, shipped product
  • Certificate of Internship + Letter of Recommendation
  • Performance-based stipend from Month 4 for retained interns

You’re a Fit If You

  • Are in 3rd year or above of a CS or related engineering program
  • Know Python well — you’ve built something with it, not just done tutorials
  • Are curious about game engines or 3D software — prior experience is a bonus but we’ll teach you
  • Can work independently and ask the right questions when stuck

Subscription based asset service? Y’all really missed the SuperHive drama, yeah?

Fair point to raise — and you’re right to be cautious. The Superhive situation is a legitimate reason for this community to scrutinise any subscription model right now.

Here’s the honest distinction: Korvix3D has been subscription-first from Day 1. There is no per-asset purchase on our platform — which means there are no existing purchase terms we could ever retroactively change. Users always knew they were subscribing to library access, the same way BlenderKit works. What happened with Superhive was a bait-and-switch on already-completed transactions — that’s structurally impossible on our platform, not just a promise we’re making.

There’s also a deeper reason we’re not in the same position: we only deal with 3D models. No plugins, no add-ons, no materials. The pressure that drove Superhive’s policy — creators needing ongoing Blender version compatibility work for their tools — simply doesn’t apply to static 3D assets. A model made today works the same way five years from now.

On the creator side, payouts are weighted by effort score, user ratings and download count — not flat per-download. We’re also building native bridge plugins for Blender, Maya, Houdini, Cinema4D, 3DS Max and soon Unity and Unreal — so artists aren’t locked into one software.

Given your experience with this community, I’d genuinely value your read on what would make something like this trustworthy in your eyes. Not a rhetorical question — actually asking.

I don’t personally have anything wrong with what you’re doing, I just wonder if you may find the timing of your announcement, close on the heels of the SuperHive situation, to be a deterrent. If I were you, I’d probably wait for that dust to settle before looking for customers for your service. But, not my circus, not my monkeys, do what works for you

Really appreciate the perspective — and honestly, fair point on the timing. We’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for engaging genuinely rather than just writing us off.

When looking at the models… i noticed:

…also it’s a bit “tedious” to select some categories only to see that they are empty and “scrolling” (actually clicking) through them… well…

Also: I saw this often in other (and even big collections)… if there are a lot of variations of some “thing” then it might be better to give more subcategories and/or tags to find more specific results. For example not only “Trees & Plants” to find some multiple variations of a “specifc” cactus… whell if they are variations

What’s the difference ?? Free/Premiun and the small thumbnails… all the same ???

(At least it seems to have not soo much crappy models like in some other “big” collections  …)

…so please: do not make you possible customers fall asleep while searching for something.

(I just remember that i had something similar to say to BlenderMarket and in fact they changed it slighly… but not really… finding some specific asset seems to be a big amount of time and work… do i wonder why some studio simply do not do it on theri own… or the know how much this would coast and use half of that as minimum price ?? IDK… )

Okay… my coffee seems to be a bit strog this morning and i may talk (type) too much :smile_cat: so take this with a little grain of salt :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Ohh another idea: some sort of quality measure → faces per cubic meter. Total faces are just… IDK for example for cars… there are properly smaller or lesser detailed cars …so how would using a total number of faces can help ?? Also for plants… oh wait you do not have any parameters… (and also no cars yet ) it seems my coffee :coffee:   is way too strong… have to go for a walk… :smile_cat:

What ?? Bridge plugin for blender is availabel but then it shows it’s not and also only for windows… ???

I’m out.
