What, how can Firefox/Mozilla be way ahed when technically 90% use IE? :-?
Anyway, I use IE and I don’t understand why people slate it so much, so I’m going to slate firefox (I’m probably going to have an angry mob right outside my house in a couple of mins! :P) Firefox just seems to be too buggy to me, crashes a heck of a lot more than IE does and when you have tabbed all the websites you are visiting, you loose the lot of them! Also, in the Linux version, the About dialog produces an XML error! Not good… oh and because most websites are made only for IE, they look terrible in Firefox. Finally, apparently even the total amount of security flaws overweigh IE’s! Every other reason is down to opinion really…
Mozilla Firefox with the noscript plugin. I hate spywares and this combo has proven itself over and over. hell I havnt had more than 3 silly cookies on my pc in months. I love the firefox Tabs. way more useful than different windows and more efficient too.
Never used the others though, except Internet Explorer with I hate. Its a virus and spyware magnet.
Reciently got back into FF because it works this time. Netscape, Mozilla, Opera. I use IE when I have to reset my soundcard, thanks to the niffty FF “view page in IE” plugin, I can just kill out IE after I open the installer. FF is the coolest. BTW, did anyone here about the FF movie contest? Cool prizes and the judges are big Hollywood directors.
85%, for the record. And it’s not about how many people use it, it’s about how OLD IE6 is, 4.5 years and counting since the last update, that means bugs, bugs and more unfixed bugs.
As for your other problems, it sounds like you have a bad install or a very unstable computer. :-?

Just what I was going to say Also I’d say on a website dedicated to a piece of Open Source software (Blender) your probably going to see quite a high number of smart individuals who prefer FireFox (or at least something NOT IE). [!]
Might I suggest that in the interest of gaining a more accurate picture, you don’t make the question quite so leading with the Explo(sive)er bit?
I put IE. This isn’t because I prefer it, but because I mainly use my laptop for surfing. My laptop’s built-in scroll buttons only work with IE (unles someone knows a plugin for FF - if you do, please tell me!), so in the interest of general ease of use on this media I use IE.
However, I prefer FF when I am using a proper mouse - so much easier to use!
I use Firefox now. Back on my old computer, I had to use IE (or, more specifically, Maxthon, which is IE-based), because Firefox’s performance (slow scrolling speed, long page rendering times…) was unbearable.
I use firefox. what do you mean by eating your favorites. sometimes every once in a while my favorites all are gone. is this what you mean and how do I fix it?
It’s most likely a bug in Firefox itself (but then again, I wouldn’t know…). You just need to make frequent backups of your bookmarks in case they’re gone. Go to Bookmarks>>Manage Bookmarks, then File>>Export to do so, and just import them if they disappear.
