I have a project that I need to make using multitextures, but i dont know what multitextures can do.
For example can I use two textures on the same material? one difuse and a lightmap for example, because im trying here, but the results are not good.
I dont know nothing about multitextures, please help me with this im in a hurry
yes that is what you can do. Also having two different textures with different UV-sets (e.g. surface + dirt).
Here is an tutorial of lighmapping:

thanks mosnter
I have attached a screen-shot from my noob game project, it uses multi-textures.
I don’t know if it is the approved way, but to get several textures on to the one object, for example, the ship has 5 textures:1) ship hull
2) mirrored view port
3) ion engines
4) exhaust cowling
5) gun barrels
I made and textured each part separately and then joined them into one unit. As you probably know, you then have to bake them!
I hope this gives you some ideas.
