Hello all,
Since a few weeks the range of my music taste expanded.
I liked many kind of music types; electro, house, techno, some hardcore, but also jazz.
The 2 fields I didn’t explored yet were:
Classical music and (hard)metal.
Since my father listens to classic music all the time, I started to be interested as well.
So… after a few tries, I really started to like it, and to consider that I’m an average Joe who grew up with modern music.
Since I discoverd Grooveshark (see: http://lifehacker.com/5483355/best-music-streaming-service-grooveshark ) I totally got in to it.
So: what does classic music to you? Does it make you happy, wild or does it makes you relaxed?
Just a few beginners tips from a beginning classic music lover; these classic music will get you exited, and are famous to most ears:
Johann Sebastian Bach:
Tocatta and Fugue in D minor
Air on a G string
Prelude
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (consider this great composer as the starting point):
Turkish March (one of the most famous of all times)
Eine Kleine Nachtmusik in Allegro (A little nightmusic (I’m Dutch, not a German (or Austrian to direct it to Mozart))
Requim (a play for the dead)
Antonio Vivaldi:
All of the:
Four Seasons (also very famous)
I like Winter the best (and no: that doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that I’m born in a wintermonth.
Oh: and put yourself over the idea that classic music is only for aristocrats and people who drive Jags (etc.), if you want to chil out, like me, just listen to classic music.
EDIT: I used the “Radio” feature, which got this playlist:
