What happened to the Community Journal? It’s been a year since I checked it, going through the main page instead of comming straight to the forums. There are no updates, has it been cancelled?

i suppose it has been replaced a bit by blendernation.com, as well as been made obsolete by the current fast pace of development.

It has been replaced by the blenderart magazine. Making another “magazine” makes no sense. I am planning to promote the blenderart magazine more on blenderartists.org though. We want to make sure as many people find the magazine as possible.
Indeed, and I was doing all of the information gathering, image gathering and writing of the CJ’s on my own. It was just too much for me to do on my own and thus, why I have lent myself to help with the Blenderart magazine.
I may bring back the “Meet the Blenderhead” section to that. I always like reading up on who’s who of Blender.
