What happened to that kick-ass tutorial

I remember years ago there was a tutorial for faking GI. It involved using a spot light, and duplicating it to each vert on an ico-sphere.

Unfortunately I don’t see it anymore.

I am looking for this because I am planning on building a scene using nurbs curves, and have been told these will not work with Blender’s radiosity. I also want to avoid converting all my nice curves to dreaded meshes at all costs.

I don’t know. Is there perhaps an external blender render add-on, that can handle this without breaking down my curves, and still give radiosity without 100&1 steps?

Is this it?

Egan, yes that’s the one!

Thanks.
