What happened to the Carve Solver (Boolean) from 2.79?

In pre-2.80 Blender, after merging several discrete objects into a single object, I would overlay my model with a box then apply a boolean intersection modifier -> solver = carve in order to remove internal faces/edges/verts as a result of the overlapping union.

Where did this go in 2.80? The intersection boolean is still there, but without the carve option it does nothing.

Is the carver still in 2.80, or is there another way I can go about removing internal geometry?

Ahh dang. It was a handy tool. Now have to find a different way to do this…

Please let us know if you find a good solution. I also searched couple weeks ago, no luck :confused:
