I have two .blend at the first have a character and the second have a helmet and a shield but I want to load the helmet only. What would you to load with bge.logic.LibLoad the mesh or scene? The mesh I guess load all mesh from .blend because it not has parameter for choose a mesh, and with scene load all scene even no active layer.

I hope that understand it.

Dealing with the scene is a lot eaiser, and not really less efficient. What I tend to do is make sure the objects are on an inactive layer and then use KX\_Scene.addObject() after LibLoad().

I thought that the inactive layers consumed memory. I agree you work with scene is more easy than it with mesh. Thanks and thanks by bgui is very useful 😉
