What is that thing? Daxotonmy or something?

What is that thing that classifies different species, it’s called a daxatonomy or something? It’s like:

Step1: Dog has curly tail?
Yes) See step 2
No) See step 3

Step2: Dog has point ears?
Yes) Shiba Inu
No) See step 4

And it goes on? Does anybody know what it is?

Well, that example you were giving, with the “if this, go to here, if not go there” is called a dichotomous key, which is used in taxonomy.
