What is the difference between rigid body physics and BGE physics?

Hi. While I am not new to blender I am trying to understand for myself one thing.
Bullet engine is now accessible from “N” - panel (Tools). Does it the same as in BGE?
In terms of using rigid body dynamics in small production studio is there any difference between them?
What is better (stable i mean)?

AFAIK they are the same. The Bullet physics library was only recently intertegrated into the 3D viewport. Previously, the BGE was required for physics simulations.
