Hi,
I am new to Blender.
I am trying to create some basic models and import them into unity.
I notice that light penetrates and appears in places where it should not. Please refer to the RED highlighted areas in the attached screenshot. This happens both in Blender and in Unity.
If someone could point me in the right direction, even name this issue, so that i can search for solution properly, it will be very helpful.
I have tried the below solutions. But they do not seem to work.
Right click->merge vertices → by distance, but 0 vertices were found.
Yeah, that’s really more an Eevee specific issue, and probably isn’t something you’d notice in Unity.
Though if you want to get rid of it in Blender, click on your light, go to its properties tab, expand the shadows menu, click on Contact Shadows, and goof around with the Distance and Thickness sliders a bit. That should fix it.
