Happy Sunday! This week I was thinking about education on Blender Artists, and how some artist post a single image while others provide a lot of background information about its creation too. I’d really like to see more of such ‘breakdown’ topics as it helps everyone become a better artist, and thought it might be a nice topic for a sticky to ask for your favorites.

I’ll kick it off with my favorite this week by @juliestrator: [Still Life with Strawberries](https://blenderartists.org/t/still-life-with-strawberries/1387857). I liked the comparison to the reference photograph and light studies. Very cool.

Please share your favorites here, and don’t be shy to post your own 🙂 To make discovery of such topics easier, I opened a new tag #art-breakdown . If this catches on, I’d love to promote such topics more - both here and on BlenderNation.

Have fun!

> This is my special piece which is meant for my upcoming 20th birthday on 4th of July. It is obviously inspired by my favourite rooftop scene from Blade Runner 2049. For the optimisation, I got a lot help from Ian Hubert’s Tutorials. The featured character is my own character named K which is the first letter of my name.Some assets are from Bagapie and Kitbash. It’s not that easy to get that “blade runner” look but I rendered out 3 versions with different adjustments…

Well it seems I’m one of the few people with a passion for it here 🙂

[@moderators](https://blenderartists.org/groups/moderators) maybe you can help breathe life into this idea - when you see a topic with a nice process description, please add the #art-breakdown tag.

I’ve seen some incredible ones in the past but not very many recently 🤔 I’ll be sure and keep an eye out though

I’ve started a new project to keep on experimenting with geometry nodes, This time I’ll share a bit more about the process, even if I currently don’t have the time to make a full tutorial on all the techniques, I’ll try to add some few tips and tricks here and there ! The idea is to make a regular cyberpunk city thing… I’m not exactly sure about how far I’ll go yet, but here is what I’ve got now : Older renders :

> Thumbnail update: Hi everyone, Some of you may have seen this guy before, and probably thought I must have got confused and posted him in the wrong software forum. Well, if you look carefully you might notice he’s looking a bit more Blendery than usual… For the uninitiated, this is my perpetually-in-progress multipurpose person project, which up until now has been carried out primarily in LightWave (here’s the [original WIP](https://forums.newtek.com/threads/human-progress.137719/)). Now I’m reconstructing it in Bl…

Could take a bit of time to run through all the comments but it’s quite worth having a look !

@DNorman thanks !!
@bartv , it’s a super cool initiative, we can learn so much from looking a bit over the shoulder of artists !
