This may sound like a strange topic at first, but many usernames have an interesting story behind them. Just curious. What made you think of your Username and/or sig?
Since I started this thread, I would probably need to explain mine. My real name is Fadi and my friends call me FadieZ (Fah-dee-ehz) which actually means F sharp in French (Fa dièse). I got the nickname from my years as a guitarist since my fellow musicians told me I had a “musical ear” etc etc.
The sig, in case you didn’t get it (which I strongly doubt), is just a joke because Alzheimer’s is a disease that makes people forgetful. Doesn’t really have a meaning in my case.
Anyway, you get the idea. Yak away:D

I was Jeepster at the Milkshape3D forum, and back then, my dad was friends with this guy who owned four jeeps, I thought he was a funny character and that’s where “Jeepster” came from originally. My sig also came from my sig at the MS3D forum, and I just liked the thought of hitting people with a shovel in the mouth…

mine is kind of snowball effect at first it was meo (my real name is miro) so I exchanged n from neo for m from miro, then I had programming “company” (not really, I’m 18 ) so I added -soft, I don’t like The Matrix now, nor I program that much but I use the nick . Written it looks good in my opinion but I haven’t found an appropriate pronounciation yet…
I agree that if you love Tolkien’s work (not only his books, but all that went before that) you find his son’s work to be interesting at the very least. I’m just saying that not everyone is into reading the history of a fictional world. Not that there’s anything wrong with that since I’m guilty of having tried conlanging as well
Mine originated when I joined YouTube, I was going to do “Animator” (probably would have been taken anyway) but in a fit of madness typed part of it twice, resulting in “Animatator”.
That then gave me the idea for “Animatinator”, sort of like Terminator (terminator, animatinator), and that’s the name I use for everything now - here’s what comes up if you google Animatinator. I can safely say everything found on the first page is me. And most of the ones on the next few pages:D

I liked it and I got it more the second time I read through. The names can be ridiculous though. There’s like 500 and half of them look and sound exactly the same as another.
I coulda sworn we had this topic before. Of course, it may very well have been locked/deleted long ago (or I’m delusional).
At any rate, my name is a truncation from one of my other internet names: The Fallen Weeble. Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down… I’m apparently defective. Anyhow, TheFallenWeeble was too many characters when I first registered at elysiun, but since some people had already started calling me Fweeb for short, I used that.
