I vaguely remember part of a TV series that was something like this. A company had innumerable satellites in orbit. Sometimes they would cause some of them to fall. This caused a rain of tiny meteors to hit the ground. People seemed to use it as a holiday (sky-fall?) celebrated by walking around outside with metal shields on poles like umbrellas.
Anyone know what show that was?
It is something the Max Headroom series would do. Maybe Zik Zak owned the satellites.
