What's gonna happen to BGE and the old texturing methods after EEVEE arrives?

Hello, I’d like to know what is going to happen with BGE and the traditional texturing and materials methods used by BGE, will EEVEE allow both workflows, non-PBR and PBR ?

Eevee is for PBR only. There are plans to add further renderers to the viewport to allow non photo realistic rendering too, but I am not aware of the current state of that.
