What's the difference between MAKING a 2080 game and a normal one?

I’m just curious - what’s the difference in the MAKING process between a 2080 (photoreal) game and a normal one? The modelling is pretty much the same, right? The TEXTURING would be “different” somehow, I assume? How? When you put a texture on an object, do you tell it: “You’re a texture on a 2080 game, so…fucking Look Good”?!!

How’s it work?
