Yeah, I know. Just hoped for some more simple and straightforward way. Without guessing all the time what went wrong.

well there is also particles object group with random on face !

My problem with particles is that they always do whatever but not what I wanted, even with physics off. Still not sure why they always rotated wrongly, with any initial rotation option, or why they float slightly above the emitting surface sometimes. So it’s a non stop headache.

  Would like something as simple as Max have
