When rendering material doesn't appear the same

I am trying to understand why the material that is on the walls and appears black is rendering this way. The material is the same as the ceiling which is a brushed chrome, and when I look at the scene in shading, it appears to be reflecting the material similar to the ceiling and handrail but not on the walls. I have attempted to add additional lighting, but it seems to wash everything out. The vertical panels are raised off the wall about 1" or so.

Is this rendered in Cycles? If it is, I would check if the geometry is doubled. Overlapping faces create black artifacts in Cycles.

Thank you so much! Didn’t even think that would happen. Had renederd it in EEVEE and it was fine, didn’t know what happened when I went to Cycles
