Where are some good games?

I’m looking for good FREE games. I’m kind of tired of “The Underdogs.” So, could you help out?

Preferably games that rule, are free, are small, and if at all possible, open-ended, which reminds me: Does anyone here know where I can get the original “Elder Scrolls” games? Underdogs doesn’t have them and the company doesn’t seem to make them. Help, please.

Go to AI Wars, and there’s a 2D shareware version. (I don’t think the 3D version is much better than the 2D one, it’s not very good graphics and it runs slowly)
