I like to go back to the last version before 2.7 is there a link?

Yes found it…2.7 has some bugs…

past versions have bugs too, lots of them fixed in 2.70, but as usual with new versions, there are too some new bugs appearing, hopefully most will be fixed in the incoming 2.70a (at least the ones that have been reported on the bug tracker) , with the hope it will not get more new ones.
