Where do You Live?

I thought it might be cool to get an idea of where everybody is located, and make a list, which I will continually update in this post. We could arrange the odd mini convention for ElYsiun members to gather and hang out. I will start with some fairly broad geographical catagories, and then leave the more specific locale (city, state, region, whatever) alongside the user handles. If the list gets too populated, I can make more subdivisions.

I will not disclose the town name because there are so few people in this area that everyone knows everyone. It would be much too easy for a serial killer or stalker to find me! Of course, we don’t have much crime up here (appart from petty theft from time to time).

I guess the closest “major city” would be Bangor … but that really isn’t much of a city, since there arn’t any buildings taller than three stories high. Of course Northern Maine is so sparsly populated and unwealthy that there would never be a REAL major city up here.

I guess the REAL major city closest to me would be Portland … which is a four hour drive to the other side of the state almost … but that still can’t compare to some of the cities in most other states.

(By the way, Bangor is suppose to be pronounced like Bang-Gor with a hard ‘G’ sound. For some reason it annoys me when people pronounce it like Bang-er … like how it was pronounced on “Spin City” once. :<)
