Where doi start....

Hi all,

I’m a newbie here, and I’m glad to be here.

I’ve been using blender for about three months, and its a very cool program:yes:.

I’d like to start creating my own game, i have a character and a story line but where do i start.

Could someone please help me.

Sotto.

Me personally, I’d start modeling and texturing the character, then move on to animations. After all of this is complete, then I’d start with the actual programming.

When you have all the models done and you start putting some logic in your game you may/will run it some problem or BGE limitation and abandon it. Of course you get the modeling experience so it isn’t completely wasted time. Anyway, I’d start exactly the opposite way. :eyebrowlift2:

sorry Shn275 but i agree with PSK131 (sounds like star wars!)
I usually start by programing, then after all the hard stuff is done i get to do the fun stuff like modeling and animating.

actually i just jump around, it’s not verry efficent but it keeps me interested…

I’ve started modeling the character and I’ve animated it. It’s kinda a ruff design but I’m planning to use this character as a template for other characters.I think the texturing can be done later.
Do you guys know of any links on how to start programming the game?
By the way what is a “Games inventory list” I came across it in a tutorial (but i lost it, ooops).
