do you mean physics engine?
if you mean physics engine:
To change the physics engine:
- Go to the shading menu (F5)
- Go to world buttons (the little picture of a globe)
- Click the dropdown as in the screenshot and click the physics engine you want

Look also in the render window, there is a pulldown menu labled:
game frame settings
thre you can change the refresh rate and the resolution… full screen ETC…
take a look , and save me som typeing 
LOL, yep, new that was there, just lost the place to change the engine…so blender internal isnt just for rendering, its also the physics engine… I didnt really know that. And you dont have to reply unless Im wrong. OK? OK.
