I’ve only the 2.66 blender version installed and nothing else. I have no idea how to install or use the addons which are available. Can anyone suggest addons which would be useful to me at an entry level and also help me learn how to implement them.
Blender comes with lots of addons by default, just enable the tickbox for that addon in the use preferences. For other 3rd party addons read their installation instructions or use the Install Addon button. Then Ctrl+U to save as default

thanks Richard but I’m looking for what may be useful for me to use. I’ve enabled a couple of the add ons in preferences after I saw then in tutorials etc. What I’m after is suggestions on which ones users think are worth it.
