In general, when making meshes/models, do you want triangles or quads?

If you’re doing organic modelling and need to use subsurf, try to stick to quads (try it - you’ll see why). If you’re modelling for games and need to keep your vertex count low, try to use triangles wherever possible.
Thanks for the tip, do you know of any articles on why tri’s are bad, I’m still not getting it.
