I have 2 Intel Quad Core Xeons L5520
I have Nvidia Quadro FX 4800
I have 24gb of ram DDR3
I have 2 500GB Hard Drives mirrored
I have Windows 7 64 bit
Which part of my computer is making it slow for gaming?

hmm…
Gaming…
Nvidia Quadros and xeons…
You don’t use quadros/xeons for gaming
What fdfxd said. You do not have a fast system thats great for gaming, you have a (presumably) solid and reliable system that’s great for workstation/enterprise uses. (plus it looks like it’s all 6+ years old which doesn’t help performance in either classification) Your biggest bang for the buck re: gaming (and rendering) would probably be a newer GPU.
Is there a GPU under £200 that you can recommend? I was thinking about the GTX 750TI 4GB…
If you need one soon, I’d probably wait to see what deals you can get on a 4GB 960 come black friday/cyber monday. The 750 ti is a nice card (what I’m running now), but is a bit low-end these days. If you can wait, hold off for Pascal which will probably be shipping by summer/fall 2016 and should offer significantly better performance and power consumption at the same price points. Keep in mind that nVidia and AMD have been stuck at 28nm for over 4 years and the next generation of GPUs is going to be jumping ahead two generations in terms of semiconductor process…
