Which Style Is The Best?

I just want to know which is the most, second, and least mainstream for people to aim at. Then I can aim for the least.

do what you like most.

for instance, i love cartoony work. and thus, that is what I do.
I love the way cartoon characters express themselves.

this thread will in no way yield an accurate opinion of all the blender/3d users out there.

Just go for what your good at and as milkman said, something you like! I’m sure there will be plenty of interested people no matter what you do.

I like all styles. Sometimes, I blend all the different styles together.

I’ve found that my styles vary but I recently found that surrealistic is where my talent lies.

yes, a blend would be cool.

Such as, a realistic character in a cartoony world.

hey

why not make a poll if you shall stay here on these boards or not ?

Just Blend man! In what ever style suits YOU.
And start posting your stuff to get some motivation.

ditto.

you should blend for yourself and for what you enjoy, not others.

Maybe I typed it wrong, d3.14159265358979. I said that I wanted to use what everybody else didn’t use as much. Then I can stand out from the rest of you.

I tend to lean towards a very cartoonish look. Heck, I’ve animated several experiments to see how cel-shading reacts to movements. I might put it some up here sometime. And I tend to do simple models. In fact, one of my cel-shading experiments was simply a cube with fractal subdivision, smoothing, and SubSurfing. (SubSurfing + fractal subdivision + cel-shading techniques = a rather neat look) In case you were wondering, I animated it to see how it looks when it gets smoother. (It looked really good, to me.)

from now on most of my artworks will have supernatural surroundings with a real-world subject! 8)
