Hi all,
I have been Google searching as to whether you could install blender on a tablet in order to fully operate it on one.
The answers so far all seem to relate to using graphics tablets as a pen for sculpting etc, but this is not what i am referring to.
Does anyone know if there is a make of tablet that Blender could be fully installed on and used like a PC.
I imagine a keyboard would have to be plugged in too for shortcuts so in effect it would be like a mini laptop but a tablet size would be ideal.

Would it run on an Android Tablet too does anyone know?
Can only afford a budget 10 inch screen at the moment.

NO!!! Does not work on: Win RT, Android or iOS!
There are many out there with latest Intel Atom CPUs & good RAM, which supports Windows (32bit). Linux OS’s still got some driver support issues. For blender you’ll need also keyboard and a mouse (it’s good even if you get a pen with it).

Get sure & don’t be afraid to return if not satisfied, just ask before if they refund or just allow you to change for other.

Actually, I think the surface pro/pro 2 uses windows 8.

Or you can find a cheaper tablet such as the Asus transformer book.
