I consider myself quite the geek sometimes, but I’m not sure which Yafray version to download. I have a dual-proc AMD Palomino 1.2ghz system. The choices are for a generic windows, a g6 and g7 download for windows. Does anyone know which is tailored for my cpu? Thanks.

Newer is better, in most cases. And especially when the software hasn’t even reached 1.0 yet. So, if you’re a geek, get CVS and build it yourself so you can controll optimizations and the likes… If not, get 0.0.8 because lots of stuff was added to it.
I wasn’t asking about release version, but processor type. My dual amd mp 1.2ghz system I found falls under g7. Thanks.

G7 optimization is for AMD Athlon systems only. . . . . try the G6 version instead.
