White Background (NEWBIE ALERT!!!)?

(Clete2) #1

I was doing a few tutorials (making a logo by someone…) and I keep ending up with a black BG… how do I make it white? (made a plane, that worked BUT it reflected the light’s light, which is not what I want ;))

Go to the world buttons (the icon of the planet Earth) and add a new World. Set the Ze (meaning zenith) and Ho (horizon) colors to white (values of R,G and B to 1) or any color you like.

ive noticed (and i could be off my rocker here) that sometimes using world as a backdrop can result in not-so-great OSA. I used to use a giant plane with ref set all the way up, spec all the way up, and hard all the way down. You end up with a gargantuan white backdrop.
