White bars [help]

Hey guy’s,

i found a really nice template on the internet and i wanted to edit him but when i was done and rendered him i saw white bars on the uppeside and downside and on the bars there where a logo and stuff and i want to get rit of it because i dont want it to be in the intro

here can u see that the whitebars area bit over the edge and when i pull them down
the bars wont touch each other to close the animation

And when i am rendering the vid it just takes too long and my GPU is using 100 % i can only bring the 100% down with ready boost but is there a solution for it to render it faster? i am using blender 2.66

Okay, number one, you asked your question in the wrong animation thread. You could have asked this in the the other one that troubleshoots animation problems. Number two, The white bars area in the middle of the workspace is called the grid. You can turn them off by pressing the N button to bring up a second menu, go to Display and tick off the grid if you don’t want to see it. As far as the planes are concerned, you have two options. You can either delete them or you can disable the rendering visibility by going to the Outliner and click on the camera so it will never show in the render.

As far as speed goes, unless you can get more procession power, you will have to “clean up” the scene by reducing the content. For example if you have a particle system active, you may have to make changes so it won’t bog down on the processing power. Also, shut down any programs you may have running by accessing the Task Manager menu if you are running the Windows Operating System. The programs that you may have running that is gobbling up the most RAM needs to go, but be careful on which one you terminate to avoid a potential shut down.

More importantly, who is this “guy” you are talking about? All I see are letters and planes here.

Im talking bout those white bars or grid and that seat logo

Have you tried to see if there were any water marks in the render section? You might also need to check in the node editor as well.

From what I can see those bars should be two animated planes, am I right?
If so, then they must have materials with a texture applied, either as diffuse color or as a mask; if you delete it from the material then the logo should go away; if you want to get rid of the bars then delete them as XeroShadow has suggested.
